Default AP pad retaining pins

I bought these 6 pot caliper from RCM a while back and they now need painting to bring them back to there former good looks, im doing it myself ( what could possibly go wrong)
Any way do these pins just knock out or is there any thing else holding them in.

Just had same problem bud, but with clips, got them off eBay. Wonder if you n get any pins on there? Or contact RCM?

They are held in by a circumferential spring clip on the other end

Just knock out,did mine few weeks back.
To avoid rust they should use stainless steel for pins, tubs ,bolts and springs.

Similar to Brembo's - They just need tapping out with a pin punch from the "pointy" end.

Plenty for sale on the bay

Reusable-You do not need new ,mine are 5 years old in not bad condition.
asperformance should have some for sale or graham goode

Those pins are strong,if metal pins are done pistons seals are shot to but all on caliper looks in good condition.
Hard to tell from picture but looks like only dust covers them,try to machine polish calipers before painting,should shine like new.

Cheers ill knock em out, i have polished them before and they have come up good like you say, but im going for colour change.
