Hi all,

Recently acquired an Impreza hatch, mainly for practicality purposes having two kids and a fairly tall dog (lurcher).

Really annoying that the top.tether anchor point for the isofix is on the rear side of the boot area, below the tailgate. This means that the straps traverse the entire boot and essentially slice the load area into three sections. Dog therefore has unacceptable space. this was an oversight of mine before I purchased. Doh.

Has anyone perhaps overcome this issue by relocating the tether point elsewhere to a suitable bolt perhaps elsewhere in the boot space? Every other car in the world has the tether anchor point on the seat backs....
