Hey all, I have Eibach springs (and Sachs shocks) on a 2006 R Sport. I keep scrapping tray/exhaust on speed bumps and would be nice to fill out the arches better so want to increase the wheel/tyre height a little .. I’m not bothered about speedo differences.

Would 205/55/17 forester setup fit ok. I have 205/50/16 .. visually I think there is another 25mm available without worrying about the arches but not sure on the internal side.

Has anyone run this combo?

 

Ideally you need to go to 205/40/17,..45 profile will probably be ok,55 profile would throw out your Speedo a little,would possibly catch somewhere,and wouldn’t look great either imo
