Default Replacement for wheel arch screws - front bumper removal

Hello everyone,

Hoping someone can help! I'm going through the process to take the front bumper off my 06 WRX, but the plastic screw in the wheel arch (bumper side) on the passenger side is completely burred from previous owner.

I was thinking of using a stripped screw removal tool that I have anyway, but as it's plastic it will definitely destroy the screw in the process.

Does anyone have any advice on a better way to remove the screw, and especially what I should search for as a replacement?

Thank you!

Be ready to get replacements mate. They can be had from ICP, the main dealers or even eBay.

Yep figured as much! Do you know what they're called so I can ensure I get the right one?

Many thanks

Just use a small sharp screw driver down the edge of the screw and pry out
Part number 909310001

A possible replacement - just push in though.

How did you get on? I am removing my bumper this week to see what damage was caused after breaking my splitter and have ordered these ones.

Like yourself mine were butchered and i had to use a tiny drill head to drill them out.
