Hi, after fitting my new eibach p11L springs I found one of my rear shocks is leaking and the other is looking very tired however the fronts are in really good condition. I’m struggling to find new and even used rear shocks. Is there any shocks that are very similar to the kyb inverted? Ideally I’d just like to replace the rear pair. Is it possible to have the kyb inserts rebuilt?

I would go with having the shop assist with making them fit properly if you’re definitely sure the parts are correct including brackets. It could be a factory mixup with the brackets. If the parts are sold in store maybe take them back as defective and request an exchange. Let them know the correct size brackets are missing and it failed inspection. Don’t let anyone know you Kodi installed improperly.

 

When I fitted my p11L springs I bought KYB excel G shocks and they are not expensive.

can’t remember where I got them but will have a look.
