3inch to 2.5 back box.

I really like the Genome backbox but want to fit a 3inch downpipe & midsection. Would having 2.5inch back box strangle the ponies.

I'm not bothered about what's there or what can be lost but more if it would cause damage being restrictive. - like a bung in the back and then flooring it

Being slightly restrictive no it shouldn't it would possibly make it run slightly richer.

What's the point of fitting a 3" system then? Why not just go for full 2.5" system.

I plan to go aftermarket but plan to do it in a way that helps resale. 3inch is better for all parties but I do like the genome box. If I ever wanted to change the back box for 3inch I could at a later date.
