Any Advice on Re-Sealing Hawkeye Taillights
Hello
has anyone had any luck Resealing the Rear lights on a Hawkeye with
1.Butyl Rubber Glue Headlight
2. betaseal 1407 -i have used this to bond in Windows on Quarter panels in the past
3.gutter Sealant like this from screw fix https://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsen...B&gclsrc=aw.ds
3.Loctite 595 Superflex Clear Silicone Headlamp, Headlight & Light Cluster Sealant
I was thinking of Warming the light up first with a heatgun at a low setting to evaporate the condensation and then re applying the sealant around the circumference of the light
and possibly changing the rubber seals behind the lights if needed
if anyone else has already dont this job I would appreciate any input or advice
Thanks

Thank you for the reply
did you have the same issue with water and condensation collecting in your tail lights ?
did you use Butyl Rubber Glue ? and once complete did it prevent the issue happening again ?
had water in one rear light, i removed it and put some butyl rubber on top ,there was a tiny space less than 1mm between outside clear and inside black plastic, thats all what was needed ,seen a post on facebook how to split and what is best to reseal rear lights, will try to find it
