Hello, I can hear i rattling 'tinny' noise from my car (from drivers side of engine compartment) at 4000 rpm - seems to tail off past 5000 but that might be coz the noise drowns it out .. anyone encountered this before.. is my turbo dying? something come loose? and how much would a new one be? (my car is Type R)

 

Heatshields is the usual response to this topic. My frontpipe heatshield expired this week and it sounds like a tinny rattle when revving the engine.....coincidently .
