Default UK Turbo 2000 Front Anti Roll bar

I've had alloy arms fitted to my UK2000, I'm now looking for a front anti roll bar to refurb, someone has mentioned I'll need an STI one to fit the alloy arms. But the fitter never mentioned any issue's with the standard anti roll bar. So, are the GC8 UK2000 and STI roll bars different? Maybe a different shape to account for the alloy arms?

the roll bars differ slightly in size across the various models but there is NO difference in shape between a classic car with steel arms or one with alloy
what is different is the droplinks - you need the ball joint type for the alloy arm
