Default Blobeye interior upgrade

I’m relatively new here so be gentle with me lol, I’ve got a 05 blobeye wrx wagon and I’m looking to upgrade the seats , ideally I’d like a set of leather seats but the sti seats look an upgrade over the wrx seats? My first question is would the bugeye or Hawkeye seats fit straight into my car? I do realise that saloon models won’t be the same rear seats but are the fronts a straight swap? Any advice is welcome. Steve

the front seats are a easy swap from the sti over to the wrx without any problems or modding ,,, the rears however are not so easy ,, you would need to find a set from a wagon sti and these are super rare ,,, I think iv seen a full set of wagon sti seats on Ebay though so might be worth a look there

Yes. The Bugeye seats are more like bucket seats, much more supportive with deeper side bolsters. Straight swap but you'll need to fit a resistor for the air bag light.

My previous '03 blobeye saloon wrx had the standard seats which I found supportive and comfortable. You could pump up the height a bit. I now have a blobeye wagon with Sti seats in the front and I find them too low and unsupportive. This car is lower though and I'm only 5' 8" so maybe better if you are 6 ft. I may change for wrx seats. It should have the black leather heated ones. I have put in a couple of bids for the Jap wagon Sti back bench on ebay up to £225 but still on there for £300.
