Yes, one of them couldn’t quote on a London postcode, no response from another and the third told me my car isn’t worth a penny more than £10k as they know how much it costs to buy a low mileage white Hawkeye Impreza, fit a 2.35 Stroker engine to it, add some nitron suspension, AP racing brakes a Syvecs S6+ ecu etc.... At which point I thought I’d rather take my money elsewhere 🤦‍♂️

Keith Michael's or Greenlight i have used both now for the last 16 years, before was elephant until they got stupid and decided that they don't insure high performance cars no more...I have used adrianflux before also but that was many years ago now....How much no claims do you have now driving a Subaru? How old are you?and what part of London do you live in Harry?...all questions that are critical these days when insuring a high performance/crashable/stealable vehicle.SJ.

All my credentials seem fine to me, let me know your thoughts:
- 33 years old, married, 2 kids, homeowner, self employed Telecommunications Design Engineer.
- Owned and driven Subaru’s and other high performance vehicles for the last 14 years, had a Subaru for 11 of those 14 years.
- 0 points on license, this is a 4th policy for me with 5 years NCD to be used on this one.
- Car has a tracker fitted and parked on driveway
- Live in Woodford which is a pretty decent part of London

It was easier insuring an Impreza when I was 20 than it is now

In all honesty Harry i can't really see why you should be finding it difficult to insure your car as in my books you have enough experience driving Subarus to be considered less of a risk!....So you have tried Moley/Keith Michael's and Greenlight already?.SJ.

Hi Dan,

Not for the time being, was just curious to know who harry went with considering how modified his motor is. but generally insurances prices are crazy high in my post code (London area).

I will give you a call if I decide to buy a modified motor!

Cheers.
