Hello all. Just after some info on a car I’m interested in. Car was imported from Japan by current owner, so a one owner.
Car is registered in Ireland. My question is. If I was to buy the car and bring it over to the UK, what is required to register it over here? Any tests to be carried out? Costs?

As long as it's over 10 years old MOT and register it.
I take it it's Southern reg.

 

itll be running KM/h, no fog light etc if coming from Southern Ireland - so might be a bit more work to get it MOT'd, if its from Northern Ireland then should just MOT fine as it will be setup for UK road regulations
