Question Coolant leak in passenger footwell - 06 WRX

06 WRX. Found coolant leaking in passenger footwell from white plastic shown in picture (can see where it has collected on right side of pic, is dripping from there). What is the plastic housing, and what is the issue likely to be? Also I can smell the coolant when I have the fans and heater on and floor mat is pretty damp so has leaked a fair bit. Cheers, Brad.

At a guess, Heater matrix or attached pipework (item 32 below) leak.

How do you repair a heater matrix leak? Are new ones still available (08 Hatch). Can they be repaired or isn't it worth it?
I believe it's a dash out job. Just dreading it happening to my car.
