I've had my hawkeye for 2years and only in the last few days, ironically the day after putting £20 in I have a strong smell of petrol in the cabin with the windows open or closed.
I can't see a leak in the engine bay but wonder if it's the same issue as this thread..

Yes it's only been noticable when zero or below degrees
