Default Exhaust questions!

Hey all, couldnt find a proper answer to this so thought i'd ask here. Got myself a 2003 blobeye GX, cheeky lil NA ej20, its had mostly a full exhaust system on it for a while, high flow cat, resonator, 6 inch cannon to 4 inch tip, all of it 2.25inch piping (as the internet has recommended for NA lol). but the headers were stock headers, with an extra bit of pipe welded on to make them UEL headers (lil bit dodgy but it works and sounds great). but anyway back to my question, would it be (even in a minor way) worth it to have some custom 2.25 inch UEL headers made? because i believe the stock header piping is less in diameter than the rest of the system. I know some places that could do it at a good price and thought i'd get an opinion on it
Granted, i have heard that EL headers apparently give a little bit more power but i cant live without the lil rumble hahah, any and all feedback appreciated, thanks in advance!
