Hi Folks,

The car was in getting a couple of new ball joints and the garage have advised that the front subframe will need to be replaced soon. They are happy for me to source it and they will fit it. I have become a bit confused as to what subframe to get. East Kent Subaru Spares have a few on ebay and list this one for example as suitable for a blobeye wagon :

It says it is suitable for GDB V7 V8.

I have looked up what these codes GDB codes mean and it look's like I need something that is for a GGA chassis as I have a wagon (it is a 54 plate with updated interior):

GDA = WRX
GGA = WRX Wagon
GDB = STI
GGB = STI Wagon

Would the subframe I linked be suitable?

 

I doubt that your car needs that type of subframe, more than likely its the U-frame. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Im...8AAOSw6GJeJeTd They're what usually rot.

Gave them a call, it is the U frame, off to ebay again!
