Default Twinscroll 3inch downpipe & 100cell cat

As title really.
I'm trying to source a 3inch down pipe with 100cell cat in it.
I think im happy for it to be 2.5inch at the other end as I am not after noise and quite the like Genome back box.

I thought RCM did one but I cant seem to find it with the cat.
Maybe there's better out there as I'm all ears.

Car is JDM 5005 Hawkeye
Dont really want second hand
Yes I know itll need mapping
Hoping for a Black Friday Steal.
I want the cat as I can't be bothered with faf at mot time.

Milltek or H and S in UK, but probably special order for 100 cell as standard is 200. Most Jap ones are 150 to 200 cell.
Or buy a 100 cell cat and weld in

Am I right in thinking 200 cell is more restrictive?

You can get a Milltek weld in 100 cell cat in 3 different diameters at Tarmac sportz for £133 currently. Any good exhaust fabricator would make it up for you, or offer their own version. You might be pleasantly surprised at the price, custom fitted whilst you wait. An example is Infinity Exhausts outside Bristol. Alternatively you could buy a jdm decat, and weld in the above cats.
I've been looking into this for my jdm hatch, as there are so few reasonable off the shelf options.

How much power are you aiming for robsy?

100 cell cats are difficult to get up to temperature, and unless they're super hot you might as well have a decat at MOT, because the exhaust values will be virtually the same.

Unless you're aiming for big power, I would seriously suggest a 200 cell cat.

Not massive numbers but thinking of freeing up some ponies.

Id rather buy a rebuilt unit rather than have one made so maybe 200cell is the best option.

My personal experience of 100 cell cats was terrible, but some might work better than others. Mine was a scooby world 109 cell cat that I bought brand new, and it failed the MOT a month later, so for me it was a complete waste of money

Do the STI PPP cats come in twin scroll fitment? If yes, they might be an option.

I dont know for certain but i'd be surprised if you'll find a twinscroll with PPP. twinscroll will be JDM and PPP was a UK/Euro thing.

I think I'm going to avoid H&S
I intend buying all the bits and fitting in 6 months and don't want the risk of there being a fault I can't complain about later down the road.

Sorry H&S but there's endless posts on here going back years on poor quality and now there are several on Facebook- all with the same reponse.

So Miltek or HKS I belive are my only option?

I can't find sports cats on RCM

I think you will find miltec have an equally poor rep when it comes to quality such as magnetic stainless which shouldnt be a thing.

Wise move. I just got this today , only because it was a good price, but the quality is diabolical. It's rippled all over, the main bend is oval, a child has used a die grinder on it, and it's full of swarf and filings

Just quick word about your concerns.
Its quite common to find these dents and ripples in stainless pipe work ( i do it every other day for work) the machine used here is either worn or set up poorly or has not been cleaned (guides or mandrel bend) in a while.
At least the swarf will blown out the back rather than sucked in through inlet.
Other than that it looks like ****e, do us a favour and put a magnet on it, it should fall off 🤪

This one i did at work, the building was a weird shape so its a 81 degree bend, machine set up pretty good but still squashed slightly in the throat of the bend pipe size is 2.5 inch

These pics are from my invidia made but rcm sold rotated kit, you can clearly see some ripples....... But the stainless (non magnetic) is so thick that they have nearly been polished out. Dont really know what im trying to say but the pipe will have the same ripples on the inside no matter what you do to the outside.
