Yesterday coming up from Kent coast, there's some dork in a deep blue modern saloon STi/WRX sitting in the outside of 4 lanes near Bluewater at 50 mph with nothing for 2 lanes on the inside for several hundred meters in either direction and nothing in front either. The "advisory" signs were flashing 50 but it was clear straight and empty enough to be doing 70. As I came up behind him, I flashed to make him aware of my presence as he dawdled in the outside lane, so that he might consider moving over and following the Highway Code and he plinked his hazards at me and stayed there

11 cars doing 65mph in 3rd lane, no cars in 2nd lane and i was doing 75mph ish in 1st lane. seemed legal to me
