LED headlight Bulbs for 2005 Blobeye
Apologies if this has been asked before (I did a search) but has anybody recently fitted some decent LED headlight bulbs (the H1 dipped beam) to their Blobeye? I just find the headlights really poor in the Scooby even after fitting decent halogen bulbs.
I was wondering if they fit ok in the headlight unit.
The ones I’m looking at are the Nighteye with an intergrated fan on them, they have good reviews from the Porsche Cayman guys (beam pattern and dazzle etc).

Update:
I went ahead and bought the LED lamps. They are really nicely made, fit well and within the unit perfectly.
Is my beam any better? NO. Brighter yes, but after now trying a number of different lamps (standard, upgraded Halogen and now LED) it’s clear the headlights themselves are just rubbish.
I’m going to have to bite the bullet and go the LED projector conversion which apparently resolved the issue.

It's the lack of projectors that is the issue. Another example of penny pinching when they moved from Bug to Blob.
My JDM HID Blob headlights are far better than standard but not as good as my JDM HID Bug headlights.
