Uprated alloy radiator for a classic; Any point going for the biggest?

I've seen there are various core sizes available on these things but I'm wondering whether the thickest is actually necessary? I've seen 40mm, 50mm etc.

Don't do it on the classic. Oem is superior to cheap eBay ones. Available from alyn for a lot less than an alloy item. That's what's on my car for harewood

Fair enough. The one on it now looks tatty as hell but probably isn't worth replacing yet as it seems to be doing the job. Just thinking ahead really, on top of the other 25 things I want for it!
