hi guys and girls,going to see a 1996 WRX V-Limited,any advice on how to tell if it is actually a v-limited what to look out for etc,it’s got the FIA seats from what I’ve been told,is there any other bits I should look for to confirm v-limited.

Check the vin code against the list on the type ra website

 

Thanks,forgot to put in main post,it’s white no roof scoop,can’t see any badges on the boot lid..

 

Under the bond on the strut top you'll find a plate with the vin code.

It will start GC8

Ive just got one in the 53 c rally blue which they didn't do on the standard car so that's a give away on the 96 car not sure about white though I'm sure it was only v- limited aswell .

 

Also there the same vin code as the standard 96 wrx so harder to tell .

 

Thanks guys just waiting for the chap to send a pic of the vin plate,he’s saying it’s definatrly a v limited 500 in blue were and 500 in white,soon as I get the picture of vin I’ll post it on here.

 

Roof scoop is only on the STI V-limited, not the WRX

Also came in black so not sure about the 500 White and 500 blue but it should have a plaque somewhere .

hi mate no not yet,should have gone Tuesday to see it then the chap changed it to Sunday,not heard anything from him since, don’t know what’s he’s doing to be honest, I’ll try and make contact with him today and see what he says.
