I'm about to take the plunge and pick up a 2009 STi and one of the first things i'd like to do is replace the factory head unit for something a bit more up to date.

I've currently got an Xtron head unit in my golf GTi and ive been very happy with it, it was also just a plug and play thanks to canbus.

This is the unit im thinking of:

But i'm not sure if it will fit in the space, does anyone know the dimensions of the factory head unit?

And what would your tips be for wiring it up? Ive seen a couple of adapter harnesses but if anyone has any more insight it would be greatly appriciated!
