Default Newbie needing help

Aryt folks, iv got a 95 wrx that's been sitting in a garage for at least 2 years, it's not starting, have put fresh fuel in it, hooked up jump starter, it turns over and splutters now and again, checked for spark and it does, fuel pump primes, and took fuel line off at filter and flows when cranking, but just isn't wanting to start, any replies much appreciated

Spark plugs, crank or cam sensor, have you plugged diagnostic blocks together to check error codes? Tried ecu reset using same blocks?

Edit: Just thought you can't do reset as it doesn't drive yet,and after 2 years it will have reset itself.(You can check error codes tho)
Have you put a new battery on or you just using jump starter?
Dead battery might be a weak link?

Aryt min, it's just a jump starter iv stuck on it not changed the battery, and not checked the codes, so put a new battery on or a good one see if that works and check codes, i can get sensors easy so will try changing then aswell?

I'd try battery 1st,check codes before changing sensors,I'd also check the coil packs, the early single packs are prone to cracks, you might as well whip the plugs out, check condition and clean or replace.

Edit: if you've got a can of easy start handy a squirt of that into the intake can sometimes bring it to life
