good morning, I have recently purchased this.. I believe it to be the previous Essex scooby Club owners? The reason for my post is that I am looking for the service history..
I recognise that car! Its been a fair few years but she certainly rings a bell thanks to the unique decals.
She used to belong to a member on here by the username ANDY.R - he would have sold it a few years ago, but assuming it has only changed hands once since then he might be able to offer you some info as to history or who else you could talk to? Worth a shot...?
Try dropping him a PM although he hasn't been seen on the forum for quite a while.
I'm afraid that's all I can suggest but someone else might be able to offer more info.
Here is Chris Atkinson of the Subaru World Rally Team autographing the roof in Germany in 2006. This was when it was wearing the SWRT replica stickers. Unfortunately the autograph washed off
Welcome aboard
Definitely from Essex without a doubt they love that graffiti I mean grafix
What plans you got for it?
The theme of the stickers has some meaning behind them for a few old Skool ESC members (and the owner at the time) that used to follow the Subaru World Rally Team to Germany.
This car has clearly seen a lot of love over the years, which makes it all the more a shame that the current owner is currently struggling to source the service history.
Seems a car such as this would have had plenty to show for itself...

Although marmite to some, the decals on this particular car have proven quite useful in this instance.
Instead of the OP looking for a previous owner of ‘another blue bugeye’- which, let’s face it, could have been the equivalent of searching for a needle in a rather large haystack- they now have a substantial starting point for finding out what they need to know and from whom.
Removal of said decals would be down to the personal choice of the current owner; maybe they like them? After all, they bought the car
