Default P1 500ishbhp parts??

Hi all just after some advice.
Have a P1 current spec is essentially...
3"exhaust, headers, turbo dynamics MD321h turbo, induction kit, 550cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, front mount intercooler and oil cooler and BR Developments map and uprated clutch and lightened flywheel.

Car has been running 400-420bhp fine for 3 years.
It's starting to feel a bit worn and tired so time for a bit more love and in doing so the engine is coming out.
I will be using RCM kit to forge and stroke to 2.1. A 6 speed non DCCD box and Syvecs are also going in.
Have been thinking it may be a shame to do all this work and not go for a bit more poke.

What else will I be needing if I'm going to aim for the 500bhp area? Which turbo is recommended?

Would I be better aiming for 400-450bhp but doing head or cams to make it really driveable instead?

Car is used for fast road 3-5k miles a year and about 2 track days/ Ring trips a year and has AP brakes, whiteline bits etc so it's purely the engine and drivetrain sort of thing I'm asking about.

Thanks for any help

I Would not bother with cams at any power below 500+ as the standard cams are adequate enough,a GT30 would be nice on a 2.1 stroker, you will Need bigger injectors though or get your 550cc injectors reflowed to a higher cc.SJ.

I previously ran 2.1, Rotated billet GT30 0.63, 900cc injectors, reversed inlet with GT spec core and standard heads.
Was epic till my PPG box broke
Was in a different league to my previous 420bhp classic

The P1 was not done cheaply but broke on several occasions and that ruined it for me. It ended up sold in parts

I wouldn't bother with the 2.5 crank without using the 2.5 block! Get one closed by asp, there is no replacement for displacement, even in a turbocharged application.
I'm running a pinned 2.5 with high compression and meth mix, Night and day compared with the 2.0's I ran before.

I was under the impression the 2.1 stroker and forged was good to about 600bhp? Didn't realise it was the crank from the 2.5 though.

Should I be going for a parallel fuel setup too?

A 2.1 can make those figures with the right supporting mods, a parallel fuel setup is the norm for big power engines. It sounds like to me that you need to sit down and work out what spec engine that you want and then go from there,as their are numerous different ways to reach those power levels, but I would stick with the 2.1 as it is more cost effective and a proven upgrade.SJ.
