Default rear piston pin covers

Trying to remove the rear piston pin covers, and I've managed to muller every screw apart from two (tried both with an impact wrench and a normal screw driver (well fitting)). I'm guessing someone's used some strong loctite type glue on them.

The screws are past using them again, obviously, so I'm going to drill them out, but what do I replace them with?

Screws in this application seems totally stupid, so is there something better to replace them with? The only good point I can think of with a screw is that the head doesn't protrude (not sure how much space there is between flywheel and the surface of the covers), but perhaps there's some torx screws or similar that wont be impossible to remove in a couple of years?

Any thoughts?

Hammer and centerpunch will get them moving every time.
Replace with the same type of countersunk screw with just a little loctite on the first couple of threads to stop them backing out.
If using the later EJ257 steel plate, then i use buttonhead allen key screws.
