Default Which turbo? Spool of vf28 & 350bhp

Hi all,

I have a v6 Impreza sit type r and my VF28 turbo has given up so it's time for a new turbo.
Things I'm after out of a new turbo:
- spool of the VF28
- will be running it at around 340-350bhp but would like it to have potential for 400bhp in the future
- bolt on

Fire away with your suggestions guys.
Thanks in advance

you wont get more power and better spool. SC36 will prob give best of both, but wont do 400.

I managed just shy of 380 on an SC36

An SC38 would be a good choice for you by the sounds of it

Meth map on a SC38 ...

Engine is stock. With the stock STi TMIC,

Mods :

SC38 1.5 Bar boost
Aluminium 42mm core rad
Cobra 3" exhaust (full turbo back)
GGR K&N cone air filter CAI (about 1 inch longer than the RCM, i had one on my old Escort Cossie and liked the size, so fitted it again)
RCM GT spec headers and up-pipe (wrapped)
Mishimoto induction hose,
750cc injectors
