Cool New member, Weston-super-Mare

Hi guys
I'm Zak and I'm fairly new to Subaru ownership.
I've wanted one since before I could drive and finally got the NCB that allowed me to afford my dream car!
Picked up my Hawkeye WRX about three months ago and absolutely love it! haven't looked back for one second (Unless I'm walking away from her!)

Living in Weston I'm obviously aware that Somerset Scoobys is a thing and I see a fair few of the members cars about and always get waves from other Subie owners around town, but I'm not on facebook so I don't know how else to join in on the local Subaru community :/

I'll hopefully start up a mod diary soon as I've gotten used to the car and needs more power!

Here's my baby!

The wonky plate's been fixed btw

Obviously not standard, when I bought it it came with:

Last owner *thinks* it's been remapped and put out about 260 BHP

And there's plenty I want to do to make it my own so watch this space!

Try bbscoobys.com as we are southwest based and have been around a long time (8 years now) and we aren't just a Facebook group as we have a proper forum and have monthly meets all around the south west and do all the major shows aswell

Hi Zak, I'm in weston also admin on Somerset scoobys. It's well worth joining facebook just for the club if nothing else, we found facebook is a lot more convenient these days and forums abit dated.. We have 1000 plus members who are all happy to help in anyway they can.. also have a good laugh, we regularly hold meets and go to most shows with club stand numbers in excess of 30-40 cars, club catering and again have a good laugh which is what it's all about, enjoy the cars enjoy the company..

Hope to see you about mate, take care.
    Dan

I had Facebook but I got rid of it as a personal choice and never looked back. If anyone fancies taking my number and dropping me a text when there's anything nearby going down though that'd be handy?
