One of my pals wants to go and view it this week, he's very keen. But he's equally a bit wary that it's been for sale for a little while now..... so wondered if anyone knew anything about it? Or may have even viewed it?
Based on the advert alone...it looks like a nice car....
Any help appreciated, ta

The one you posted has been for sale since March when my mate was looking for a spec d.
Ended up getting an 89k 2006 one for £6200 which he's just had forged/cdb etc.
One in the advert might be ok, but there might also be a reason why its not sold.

I don't think you can necessarily read too much into a particular car being for sale for a long time these days... it seems to be the norm for trade and private sellers to put them on for ambitious prices and be in no rush at all to actually achieve a sale.
Why do some people buy an STi Spec D, then turn it into what looks like an STi?
Doesn't anyone like the stealth / sleeper factor anymore?....it's much more fun!
Perhaps the previous owner(s) wanted STi grunt and looks, but could only find a Spec D at the time.....dunno, but this totally defeats the object of the model.
I'd hate to sell my forged Spec D and see it turn out looking like this. Don't get me wrong it looks nice, just not a Spec D anymore, bit of a shame really.
