Boost up to 19 PSI on P1.How much power?
Marty so I don't insult your intelligence and waste my time explaining it all, are you happy with the concept of detonation and the factors that affect it and the consequences?
How were you planning to increase the boost?

I am having a boost contol fitted ,I know the service manager at a garage who is going to do the work for me ,he is also going to fit a boost gauge .He has modified his u.k impreza and has 280 BHP at the flywheel. He has done 150,000 miles with this power with no problems,so i think i can trust him.

Fitting a boost controller on a P1 is asking for trouble IMHO.
They have a single map for low and high octane - which is not changed from the 100 RON STi 5 map. They have lower knock sensor sensitivity than the UK car. They already run a bit leaner.
Fitting a boost controller will remove the ECU's ability to lower boost in response to knock, limp home mode, vehicle speed.
