Aah man, that's sad.

Remember that classic footage of him stepping in to run the line, when a linesman became injured, or summat.

Anyone remember those hatstand 'raids' of his image hidden in cartoon strips of Viz? (No doubt inspired by those in Whizzer & Chips ).

The randomness.

I loved the utter bollocks he oft spouted, whilst going off on one, at a tangent. Obviously part-inspired for that Paul Whitehouse football pundit character.

"Boys in the park.
Jumpers for goalposts.
Marvellous.
Isn't it."

RIP

RIP Jimmy, like a lot of people he was part of my childhood growing up. He always seemed like a nice, polite man.
