I've got a 2005 WRX Wagon which I've maxed out on the 380 injectors at 279/301 with a standard TD04.
I'm going to fit a hybrid TD04 to increase the power higher in the revs and was going to fit 550's but have just seen Matty's got some 440 available and they are a lot cheaper than the 550's.
What do you think the 440's would get me too? I'd be happy with around 310/310 a long as the power pulled all the way to the red line.
I was going to ask Bob Rawle but don't want to both him..... yet

£20 plus postage. They are no use to me.

my 03 wagon made 320hp using a VF34 on the standard injectors, but they were maxed then.
Is your's the 2.5?

this was about 6 or 7 years ago but yes definitely on the standards. I thought the wagon had the same injectors as the saloon!
I had a 3"miltek exhaust at the time and later upgraded the top mount and fitted 550pinks and got a bit more.

personally if they're out of a standard blobeye wrx I would count on them being the same injector, called 380 or 440, I'm sure it's all about what different people rate them at if I'm not mistaken.
The 550 was always the next upgrade and if Bob say's they're maxed a wise man wouldn't second guess that

Reef, and anyone interested, a crude flavor of what the injectors will give at different fuel pressures
440Injectors
320hp - 3bar Fuel pressure
346hp - 3.5bar Fuel presuure
550Injectors
400 - 3bar Fuel pressure
432 - 3.5bar Fuel presuure

Hi there
440cc injectors should be on wagon too,as we have too 440cc injectors as standard on our wagon, they should be blue(light blue) if you have them, then they're 440cc and with reflowing, you should have 740cc injectors which should be OK up to 500bhp easily,we are run them at 490bhp plus NOS@2.1 bar fuel pressure, with more fuel pressure I would say 520-550bhp is possible
550 are probably next step for every WRX owner when he wants more power
Hope this helps
Thanks,Jura

Ok, checked mine and they are light blue so must be 440's. I've not no idea where I got the 380 story from......
I think I'll bolt on a VF35 and see what Bob can get out of it

Interested to follow this as I have a hybridised TD04 waiting to go on my wagon, plus a decat up pipe, and some new coil packs that Martyn at Enginetuner recommended . Just looking for some pinks myself, if anyone has some
should get enough out of a 34 with 440's tbh. On the basis that my flow matched 440's are c.320 (TD0516g)on Ph2 classic 440's. I imagine the newage 440's are better technology. Always cheapest to get a set of 440's and get them flow matched and modified to flow higher by Lateral than shell out for 550's
