Default New'ish'bie from ayrshire

Been on here for a few weeks now, currently on nightshift bored out my skull so thought id introduce myself and the car.

22 year old aircraft mechanic from East ayrshire currently travelling europe fixing planes.

2005 wrx - 346bhp 330lbs/ft & sub 1250kg

The car is my daily driver when i'm home and will be used for SLS and hillclimbs next year.

Thanks mate, working 5 on 5 off in girona, Spain just now. Good money good weather good air hostesses

All the travelling and 30 hour days takes it out of you though.

I too am a night shift worker, doing 4 on 4 off, which is awesome!

Any plans for the car?

Plans for the moment are just to get it finished haha. The goal is sub 60 at knockhill. I'm hoping with half the whiteline catalogue, my big brakes, sticky tyres, coilovers and some better driving I'll get there this year

Looking good mate! Nice weight reduction too! That's almost same as what a classic weighs Did it take much to get it to that?

Weight reduction was pretty easy, just every single piece of plastic, sound deadening AC and cd player + 1 lightweight seat. There's some more weight to come out it via plastic windows, inner door skins, heater matrix etc.. but all depends on what class I end up in at SLS
