Guys,

I am looking for a 400bhp turbo, I have seen SC do the SC38 and a SC42, Will the SC38 get me around the 400bhp even tho its is a 38 turbo, as it has a massive price difference compared to the SC42.

Yep the SC38 should get you pretty close to yoru target, if you're happy to map for meth then you could possibly get a little more than 400bhp out of it

 

sure i've seen a graph of one so with right supporting mods yes, not sure if meth was involved or not though

 

I am running an SC42 and make 401bhp at 1.45 bar boost on ecutek remap done on Tesco 99. Changed the injectors as the originals were running at 100% at 389 bhp. Still on the top mount intercooler and 2 port solenoid. Plenty of room to up the power if I decide to go front mount.

 

Talk to the mappers. Whilst there are some cars that make over 400bhp with an SC42 there are plenty that don't too.

 

Like any turbo, alot will depend on supporting mods and spec, my Sc46+ didnt even make 400, top mount cried enough before that lol

340 RCM Pump
650cc Injectors
HKS Exhaust
7's NGK Plugs
Uprated Pads and Disks
