Default Cdb crank

Hi, would my crank from a v4 sti fit into a centre trust bearing cdb?

I'm don't know if my crank is centre or rear bearing yet, I'll find out tomorrow.

Also will all the journal sizes be the same?

Thanks jack

Yes, but it's a little bit silly to fit a V4 crank into a CDB build as what you really want to do is bite the bullet and get yourself a cross drilled nitride crank and have the block machined accordingly, reason being better oil flow to the weakest point ie bearings, between that and the under piston oil squirters of the CDB it's one of the best things you can do to improve engine longevity, otherwise you may as well not bother with a CDB and sell it on to someone that will make proper use of it to help fund your cheapo rebuild.

I'm always calm I was merely pointing out the error in your reasoning, as in pointless using a CDB if you're not going to take advantage of the reasons to do so.

Ditch is right, it is pointless, do a 2.1 build with a 2.5 crank
