Default Exhaust Gasket Help! Catback 3" pipes

Hello All

I have recently purchased a Cobra 3" catback for my WRX 05(no mods), its a used part. I want to fit this but i have no clue about what gasket i will need, and whether it will fit the standard CAT, I was told by the seller it would fit due to the flange. I also did call Cobra Sports and they did also say it will fit. i would really appreciate if you can copy in some links for the gaskets i will need or parts to fit this system.

i have attached pictures of the exhaust system.

the pipe that goes to the CAT

the other end of the pipe that goes from the cat to the backbox

hi mate the centre is narrowed to fit the standard cat and you most likely wont need a new gasket and to joint the centre and back together any 3" gasket will fit and easily found on eBay or high temp silicone.

Get a 3" gasket and remove the teflon doughnut flange from your original pipe and reverse it.

thanks for the help and advice guys, from the looks of it sounds like a simple job, the workshop i took my scoob to quoted me £80 for a bolt on job, which is a bit steep. Any idea who can fit it in for me as cheap as possible. i am based in east london.

and again thanks for the swift advice.

Thanks
Kassim

Its only nuts and bolts, use a jack and DIY save yourself £80.
