Compression test numbers do I have a problem?

Default Compression test numbers do I have a problem?

My car is idling low when cold but fine when warm, as a precaution I've checked the compression an got
1- 103
2- 96
3- 105
4- 112
A bit up an down should I be worried ??

Assuming those numbers are in p.s.i., they look a bit on the low side although engine wear would have to be accounted for.
Just to give you some balance, my engine is about 3k miles old and the compression pressures on mine average 158 p.s.i across the four cylinders with 9 p.s.i. between the highest and lowest.

the reading is not important as such as it will vary with different conditions, being even is far more important and yours seem fairly even so ok.

to be totally accurate about cylinder and valve wear etc you need to do a leak down test not a compression test

Never heard of a leak down test I'll see if my mate has this bit of kit.
