Default Angel eye bulb/wiring issue

Hi everyone.

I picked up a set of angel eye headlights which I installed earlier on my 98 Terzo, but have a strange issue.

They came with the loom which plugs in to the oem headlight connector and I simply used the existing side lights.

The "halo" rings need to be spliced in to existing wiring and I was planning to use the sidelight for this, however, there seems to be a problem with the driver side headlight/full beam, whereby the headlight is very dull and the full beam doesn't work.

Has anyone got these installed, is there something I'm missing?

Thanks.

The wiring to Scoobs is often not quite as "plug and play" as sellers would have you believe.

You may have an earthing fault on that bulb.
You may be trying to power two bulbs off one supply.
You may have fallen foul of the dreaded Scoob "switched earth".

In any case, get hold of a multimeter and start testing.

Sorted this. Found it was actually dirty connectors.

Pulled them apart and give them a good clean then spliced the halos's and LED's in to the side lights.

All that is needed now is a bit of fettling to get them to sit right.

Thanks for the assistance.
