Default boosting issues with my gc8 import version 1...

pretty new to the Subaru world and have come across a really odd issue with my car, sometimes boosts up perfectly but most of the time feels really sluggish on boost as if its running wastegate pressure 0.5 bar.iv had a read of a few threads and cleaned the boost control solenoid and nothing changed I then un plugged the solenoid and took the car round the block and it drove exactly the same. im sure its the solenoid problem im having but just thought id see if it could be anything else before I shell out some money for a new boost solenoid.

cheers
