Default VF23 replacement

So here's the rub after rectify my gearbox issues and bedding in a bit of spirited driving and I belive the turbo has decided to let go.

I have a near standard 97 sti with the intention of track days and sprinting once the niggles are sorted stick with the Vf23 or upgrade????

What are the thoughts ?????
