Just a quick one.

With the new(ish) electronic taxing, if i change the reg of my car, how do i change the tax to that new reg? Is it now done automatically? I had a look on the dvla tax site and cant find any info relating to this whereas previously with discs there was the form you had to send off to get a new disc sent through.

Any help appreciated.

i think it's all done when you transfer the plate to the car, not exactly sure but i changed my plate last month drove past plenty of police and havent been pulled so guessing everything is in order!

 

It's changed by the DVLA to the new plate.

I should add they also issue you a new mot on the new plate.
