Default Sidelights

I got home tonight parked up and switched my lights off. I got out the car and realised the sidelights were still on, I checked they were switched off on the stalk.vi turned the stalk a couple of times but no difference.

In the end I had to take the fuse out to turn them off

Any ideas?..

Car is a 99 Impreza 2000 turbo

That's the one. It allows you to leave 'em on for parking etc, whereas without it, they go off with the ignition.

If I had a £ for every time I've seen this asked.......

I had a manual from new...read it cover to cover, mostly sitting in the car trying things.

Not that there's lots of toys on a UK Impreza..........
