I have a two and bit year old I Phone 5 and I Pad Mini and just bought a I Pad air want to keep all three. All are running the latest IOS 8.1.3 . So was trying to set up all similar ie Photo stream that has now vanished ( since switching on and off beta library ) from the mini and the 5 now and similar apps where permitting as one is a Phone.

I have always struggled with I tunes find it very user unuser friendly. I would like my pictures on all three devices if possible like photo steam, I have iTunes and 20gb I Cloud where my picture are backed up.

Is there a easy way to share pictures on all three and my windows 8.1 laptop, that my I cloud pictures seem to have stopped updating as I ran out of storage, but now updated to 20gb.

I don't fully understand your question but if you restore you new iPad from your old iPad's back up it will be the same.

 

Thanks for the quick reply but it would only let me restore from the IPhone the I pad restore was greyed out and it hung up on the phone one so did a full reset and just pulled all the apps from cloud.

Its the pictures, can I not have like photo stream and all my pictures shared between the three of them.

 

As far as I am aware, photostream will only stream new photos on photostream enabled devices. Old photos on any of the devices will not appear on any of the devices before photostream was enabled. Also photostream has a limit of 1000 photos.

 

I know you mentioned iCloud Photo Library, it seems like exactly what you want, have you enabled it on all devices? I haven't used it yet, waiting for the new Photos app on the Mac.

I have now enabled all beta on three devices and it looks like it is loading the cloud, need to go out will let you know how it works out.

All sorted now the cloud has dumped a new folder called "all photos "on all three devices all have the pics shared, bit of a memory drain though if you have circa 1000 pics stored. Still a slight issue with the laptop I will suss that. Thanks for the replies.

 

When u run out of room on iCloud upgrade to the 2.99 a month, ours filled up at home so we had to go larger....but now u can back up them all easily...
