Default Tail Light Splitting.

I know the method of splitting the front headlights on a blobeye car but wondered if it is possible to use the same method on the tail lights.

Anyone tried it or know if there is an alternative method?

is it just to clean out condensation?
if so id just remove from the car take out bulbs and pop above a radiator or in the airing cupboard overnight and then when clean pop a silica gel packet in each one as this seems to keep them clean.

No mate. I have a cracked rear lenses but have managed to get a very cheap UK rear tail light. The JDM lights differ and the light sockets are in different locations so was looking at splitting the lights.

I could then transfer the JDM section over.

The brake light location is different on the JDM clusters.

I have been to work with the Dremel and cut the correct slots into the UK blank. Saved money and the possibility of melted lights.
