Default Road Rally Impreza

We’re looking for a Road Rally prepared Impreza.

Does anyone know of one for sale?

If not, it looks like we will have to build one, so we’ll need a good GC8 Sport, roll cage, sump and tank guards.

As we’ve never had a Subaru before, any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Don't bother unless you plan on dropping a 2.5 in as the Standard sport is just too slow
, what you loose in power you need to make up with handling and gear ratios also

Everyone I know who does road rallying has one has a 2.5 in it, mostly everyone uses a WRX but know of one or two Type Rs and an RA, there's a boy in West Wales who had his Type R for sale early last year for 16K. Pm a lazyboy on here, he has one and I'm sure it was for sale a while back, he's also built a few for mates and makes up his own DCCD set up for the gearbox as well, he's a pretty handy guy around an Impreza. Have you tried the classified ad's on the British Rally Forum??
