Default "Daily Driver?" No, it's not, you don't drive it so shutup!

I've been watching a lot of phone reviews and I've done a lot of reading, but what I can't help but notice is the phrase "daily driver!" I see this phrase everywhere in reviews and in comment sections- it makes me cringe every time!

It's not a bloody daily driver, just refer to it as a "daily phone" or "daily user". Seriously, you don't drive the god damn thing so stop calling it your daily driver!

I thought everyone just bought iPhones... Or Samsung Galaxies if they couldnt afford an iPhone and Blackberry's if they felt they had to prove their technical knowledge...

^^ I do, partly because I can't see any point in spending huge amounts on a phone, on what can technically be classed as finance (2 year contract etc)

My Galaxy S2 works fine, does everything I need it to and is cheap as chips. £70 got me a decent 2nd hand one when my first one got smashed.

What's the retail on the latest iphones etc? What are they a month? £45 over 2 years or something like that = £1080 in 2 years.. sod that!
