Its why I had mine cancelled.
Never understood the point of bring in chip and puin then introduction a system that negates it albeit for small amounts...still £20 is alot of money in my book...I can drive my Golf for 130miles on £20 of fuel.

Oh please, get your tin foil hats back on. Next time you pay with NFC slowly move the card to the terminal and notice the distance needed to activate a payment. You're not liable for the fraud even if someone could get that close to you for long enough.
Didn't Clarkson act like this about his bank details?

I suppose you don't have a PIN on your phone either?
Its actually because I lost a card that I don't have them now.
I lost one of the one credit cards in the petrol station after I dropped it by the door on the way out. Luckily someone honest handed it in, but they could have easily swiped £20 off it before handing it in and before me being able to cancel it.
Also had double payments taken on a few occasions which was an **** to sort out.
Since then, I figured its less hassle just not to have them, call centres are an **** at the best of times, even if its the sakes of trying to stop a sub £20 payment.
Also have a Samsonite wallet - Just happens to be sheilded, but I use them as they are simply better quality than most, which seem to come unstitched in the space of a few months.

I have a samsonite wallet, no idea if it's shielded, you're right, second one owned both excellent.
I hope someone does buy something if they swipe my card, not my money at that point and there's a better chance they'll be caught.
I have Touch ID and a pin. TouchID will kickstart NFC payments for a lot of people, I can't wait to buy a burger with my watch, if I can use Bitcoin all the better.

Apple pay will replace things I have to sign for. I'm not going to use TouchID to get through the train barrier when waving my card at it will do and I'm not going to buy a car by waving a card alone.
