Default Gearbox oil change

Just ordered some oil so hopefully doing this at the weekend.

Just wondered if anyone has any tips? or if there is anything i should be looking to do at the same time?

Presume take it for a quick drive first so there is some warmth in it, drain, replace, jobs a gooden!?

Assuming a 5 speed GC8 car then the only way to fill it is through the dipstick tube. That takes ages and you need to be patient.

The magnetic drain plug will have a few bits of metal attached when you look at it. Most of it is just metal sludge, but if there are any big bits take care as something is breaking up. A photo on here might identify what and what to do about it.
Good Luck David APi
