Angry Need ideas for Impreza GT Turbo

Hello everyone, I just bought a 2000 model GT turbo and last owners have not been nice to her. she has been lowered stupendously much, right now she is in a workshop because of overheating problems and engine wont start after overheating.
what I want to know is what part can I buy to fix her up. I'm from Iceland so most parts have to come from other subaru's like impreza, forester and legacy. I just want to have little more torque in low rpm's and much softer struts.

So...

What engine is best to swap with that handles a turbo and drifting.

what is the best struts for going over 50 speedbumps a day and still handles alright.

will I be able to fit 6 speed transmission into her?.

My dream is to make her a everyday drive and also able to have fun. In my opinion she is neither right now

btw, pictures are in my album if you want to see the car. all help will be much appreciated

have the engine been compression tested? if it overheated then stopped working may well be DOA

It is still on a "waiting list" to be checked over and repaired. So I don't know what is wrong. but he did check on it for like 10-20 min and said it's most likely electrical problems, but the started motor goes like new...
