Default need advice on a satellite box

been looking at a "f5 sky open box". basically the box costs £40 odd on ebay then you pay a subscription for all the channels bt sport sky sports etc...

just need advice on this or other boxes some of you may use, im new to all this so want something simple and easy to use.

i have sky basic package atm so in the room theres a cupboard with a phone point the wifi modem etc all there so connecting it up shouldnt be too difficult i doubt.

cheers.

Had an openbox with card share and it was very good. Little slower to select channels than a pukka sky box, the recording isn't as flexible but for just watching ANYTHING on the sky satellite it was bob on!

XBMC is a great bit of kit imho, run it on the laptop and can get literally everything all in English.
